Jessica Lopez-Liggett
Jessica Lopez-Liggett is a dynamic and results-driven executive leader with over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Jessica was named president of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Indiana in 2026. The Anthem health plan in Indiana is the largest in the state with nearly 5,000 Indiana based associates, serving more than four million members. Before becoming President, Jessica was the Regional Vice President of Sales in Indiana where she led sales initiatives that drive improved health outcomes and deliver greater affordability for the communities Anthem serves. In this role, Jessica combines strategic thinking with a deep understanding of employer needs, crafting innovative health benefit solutions that meet organizations where they are and guide them to where they aspire to be.
Jessica is an influential voice in both business and community leadership. She serves on the board of directors for the Indy Chamber and the Indiana Conference for Women, where she supports efforts to advance economic development, inclusive leadership, and professional growth for women across the state. In 2023, she completed the McKinsey Hispanic & Latino Executive Leadership Program, an experience that deepened her commitment to mentoring and developing the next generation of diverse leaders. Rooted in a lifelong passion for serving under-resourced communities, Jessica's advocacy began in Missouri, where she volunteered with the St. Louis Area Food Bank and was an active member of the Whitney M. Young Society, supporting the impactful work of the St. Louis Urban League. Her community engagement continues in Indiana, where she remains a dedicated advocate for equity in access to healthcare and opportunity.
Jessica is also a published author, having contributed to the bestselling anthology G.R.I.T., which explores themes of growth, resilience, intention, and tenacity. Her chapter reflects her personal journey and commitment to empowering others through courage and perseverance.
A proud graduate of the University of Missouri–St. Louis, Jessica balances her professional and community commitments with a love for travel, hiking, health and fitness, and most importantly, family. Her unwavering drive, compassionate leadership, and service-minded approach make her a powerful force in healthcare, business, and civic leadership.
